Black Box: Network and server cabinets à la carte
Robust and tailor-made racks to meet individual requirements
Hallbergmoos, October 6, 2010 – Cabinets that cater for every requirement are available now from Black Box, the IT and telecommunications specialist. Regardless of whether it is a server rack with high ventilation or a small, secure model for the office – clients can quickly and easily configure their own cabinet according to their individual requirements. If needed, our free Tech Support is at hand with help and advice. The fully assembled cabinet is usually delivered within two days and ready for loading of equipment.
Resilient steel frames in varying sizes form the backbone of the Elite series. Clients can choose from a wide range of cable management options and door, wall, floor and top panels. Doors, for example, are available either solid, perforated with a high ventilation area, vertically divided, in smoked glass or with built-in fans. Much thought has also been put into cable routing with ample space provided in top and side panels to make for easy handling. Individual requirements can easily be met with horizontal or vertical cable conduits and patch cable ducts.
“European cabinets usually have a width of 80 cm and are thus difficult to move through doors in office buildings. The Elite cabinet series solves this problem with a cabinet width of only 75cm but maintaining the same ventilation levels“, Axel Bürger, Managing Director of Black Box Deutschland GmbH, explains. “In addition, special emphasis has been put on easy accessibility by the administrator during the development of the cabinets. Divided doors offer comfortable free space for equipment maintenance. Furthermore, these doors can be equipped with active fans, which, especially in server racks, where most heat develops in the back section of the cabinet, can dissipate heat gently and quickly.“
